Marshall developed and led a multi-wave research project spanning 15 countries and 14,000 respondents — the most comprehensive study of global health communications perceptions conducted to date. Key findings include empirical evidence that active-contributor framings of aid recipients outperform passive-recipient framings, and that Global South voices increase the effectiveness of donor-market communications.
